What is Anxiety

Anxiety is the body’s natural response to stress or a perceived threat, whether it is real or thought based.

This condition affects many people and animals. It can be very overwhelming and scary, which also adds additional struggles and obstacles to a persons everyday life.

Each persons anxiety condition can show up in different ways.

Uncovering the core issues relating to your anxiety can be a way to clear them from your whole energy system.

My Experience with Anxiety

From my own lived experience, I have a strong understanding of the debilitating, exhausting and emotionally draining effects both anxiety and panic attacks can take on the body, mind, and spirit.

As someone who has lived with this condition all through my life, I wish to bring my experiences, lessons, and empathy to helping others with anxiety.

I began to search for ways to manage, reduce and understand my own anxiety issues.  In time, I found long term techniques that help me to relax so I can view the feelings, emotion and physical discomforts that come with anxiety, and to see them through the eyes of awareness and curiosity, rather than fear. Sometimes preventing an attack from occurring.

Practicing meditation has become a key lifestyle change for me. The longer I continued to regularly meditate the more my symptoms began to reduce. I now continue my own practice and teach others the benefits of meditation and breathing exercises.

Continued self-exploration led me to EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).
After receiving a recommendation, I completed 2 tapping sessions following an online video. The sessions were focused towards pain and my body benefited from the energy work, tapping on the acupressure points. As a result, I can sleep better and this in turn allows my brain time to go through the stages of sleep and rest at night. I also noticed that I was not needing to go to the toilet in the middle of the night, as I had been doing for many years.

I was blown away by the benefits after that and knew that I needed to find out more.

I found an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) teacher who taught me how to use EFT ‘tapping’ whenever I needed it.

EFT has enabled me to shift so much emotional baggage and core issues and inspired me to complete the Practitioner course so I can help other people learn to tap and heal themselves and their pets.

Through using a variety of modalities including EFT, Meditation and breathwork I can help you become more present with the feelings and emotions that arise with anxiety, and teach you tools to assist you in managing your own anxiety. This then assists the nervous system and creates a toolkit for you to be able to use when you need it.
